As a hard core Cavs fan I am mystified as to what’s been going on over the past 2 games.
First of all ,the Cavs don’t look lackadaisical by any means, however, that certain, “je ne sais quoi,” they had throughout the quarter and semi-finals, just may be missing.
Again not a basketball expert, but they were on fire for the first two games and as a fan, it was my hope that fire would continue in to Games 3 and 4.
However, instead of dropping 3 balls like K.Love was dropping dimes in the State Farm Commercials…the Cavs shooting definitely wasn’t how it was in the first two rounds of the playoffs. I’m not sure if LeBron needs to eat some more of that spirulina cake and Kyrie needs to indulge in some more of the pancakes he made in Nike’s short film Too Many Great Players…or if K.Love needs to pound back more of that chocolate milk…but that fire that all the Cavs were playing with in Games 1 and 2, kind of seems out.
I acknowledge that the Cavs brought it in the second half of Game 4 with some good plays made by Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye, and they definitely cut that 18 point lead down…but, the Cavs really need to bring it and turn it on for Game 5 when they come back home.
I’m hoping and praying for a rally when they get back, but it’s going to take a whole lot more than just prayers and luck for the Cavs to win this series. The Raptors have been showing their teeth these past 2 games and are proving to be a tough opponent.
C’mon fellas…game on, Wednesday. Y’all really need this win. Show these Raptors whatcha got!
